 Dr. Danny Mendez Principal |
Dr. Danny Mendez has served as an educator for 22 years. His career spans across the entire K-12 spectrum. He is currently in his third year serving as Principal of Seymour Middle School. Prior to that he served in various roles such as teacher, coach, assistant principal, elementary principal and director of secondary education. During his time as an elementary principal, his school was honored with 3 national awards. Dr. Mendez has been honored with multiple Principal of the year awards. He has also consulted with over 100 schools that were seeking guidance on building excellent schools. Dr. Mendez holds a Bachelor's Degree from IUPUI, a Masters Degree from Indian Wesleyan University, an Education Specialists Degree from Indiana State University, and a Ph.D. from Indiana State University. |

 Mrs. Laci Skidmore Assistant Principal |
Mrs. Skidmore began at Seymour Middle School in 2020 as Assistant Principal. After graduating from Indiana University Southeast in 2010, she was a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and interventionist. She was a teacher of the year nominee in 2019. Mrs. Skidmore holds a MA of Reading Education and plus 30 in Educational Administration. |

Mr. Henkle has been an educator in Seymour for 17 years. Throughout those 17 years Mr. Henkle has served as a teacher, coach, dean of students, athletic director, and assistant principal. His teaching experience includes a background at both the high school and middle school levels. Educational degrees include a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Indianapolis as well as a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. |
